There is a tree just outside my front door that has beautiful dark red leaves. I was just fooling around with a the 105mm sigma (macro), 580 flash and a transmitter when I thought it might be cool to fire the flash beneath the leaves. The result made the veins of the leaf really stand out and kind of look like lightning - hence the title. Later I tried to take some leaves inside and was really pleased with one shot but it had a lot of sensor dust visible and as I understand we cant use the stamp tool to get rid of it. So I scrapped that one and send this instead. Hope you guys enjoy my debut here. Oh yeah... photo editing consisted of color balance, selective color and crop.
