 my old 10 yr old sneakers, on top of a curved black illustration board, panel flash on side,
applied some USM and some adjustments on brightness and contrast, levels, and some very minor cropping, then added border

i love this photo -- love your tight crop/composition, and the texture on these old chucks is incredible...i never realized they had so much texture. 10

I like the lighting here; it adds a lot of interest to an otherwise bland subject. I'm not sure about the thinner sides of the frame, but I do think it looks better than if there weren't a frame at all. I know I sound a little unsure, but I really do like the shot. 8

Good lighting and colours. A slightly lower angle of the lighting would have softened the inner side of the closer shoe. I like the frame. -7
