No, it's not a monkey! But it looked enough like a monkey that I thought it might work for the challenge. It's a picture I took of a Smooth Black Brussels Griffon at a dog show this weekend.
It seemed like a good idea at the time, but after finishing 190 out of 198, and my personal worst submission, I think I will stop submitting something just so I can click the update button!

Very cute. Unfortunately between the subject's dark furry coat and the lighting we can see very little of her. And while we understand that a retired star's job is to stay out of the limelight, it is the paparazzis job to shed light on more than just her lime-lit glasses.
Since I am lacking in technical skills, I cannot give helpful comments. I am strictly a photo buff who is trying to improve, but as to telling you what is wrong or right, I am in no position to say. I am simply voting based on whether I like the picture or not. Sorry, maybe someday I will be able to give helpful advice
