lots of lions/tigers in the challenge, and if you enter one it better be quite good. I like this shot, but it suffers from soft focus. the colors are nice and the exposure seems good

Something about the DOF and/or graininess of this photo that bothers me. It's ALMOST perfectly focused, but not quite IMHO. Also, the lighting is pretty harsh (looks like mid-day sun), causing some blown highlights. Still, it's a nicely composed shot.
