Very nice use of side lighting notice how the fine fiber like grooves are visible? In a front light or an ambiant light this would not be the case you would loos a lot of the wonder texture. Each style of lighting has it's pro's and con's. Side lighting is mypersonal favorite expecialy in Macro. Very nice example of sibve lighting.
This is really cool. I wish the background had been a little different at the bottom so the leaf stood out more but I think the lighting is great. 7 - good luck in the challenge!
