I was at a folk ballet and was fortunate the lighting was good. I was fortunate to get several lavish shots. I felt this picture showed alot of texture not just in the materials of her dress but, the way the lighting was on her face. Thie picture was cropped slightly, resized and brightened very slightly. Thats it no heavy post processing etc. because I had to resize to 640 it is a little more grainy but, I don't think I had any other choice.

I think this scored so low because of the size and all the noise. I think if you ran it through noise ninja or something people would be more open and focus more on the beautiful picture here. I see the texture. Also the way the palm leaf parallels her arm is beautiful and adds to a great composition
