The smears are great. I don't know why everyone says it should be polished. The smears give me a feeling of motion, like the hairs of the horse being blown back by the wind.

This is a nice shot, but I would have made sure to not cut off the tail

Oops! You cut off his tail. And if you're gonna be that close, you might want to polish him a bit better. Doesn't look like you thought much of this picture. Sorry.

Pity about the framing... and call me picky, but would it have taken 10 seconds to polish the horsey first? Otherwise not a bad shot.
