No filters, special lenses, or special tecnhiques as you should see yourself. I shot it from quite a distance, which is why the quality isn't very good. This monkey was awesome though, so I decided to post it anyway.

the first thing I thought when I saw this was - "Hey Mom, my tongue is stuck"
Its a little grainy and the rope behind the little guy is over exposed making it too hot. 5
Great timing. A very cute subject. Really like the different color shades in main subject but I find the bright white glare on the rope and bottom right corner of picture very distracting. A great shot however and should get a top 10 finish. Congrats!
i like the actual fence but the diffuse glow make the animal the rope and the funny white wire on the right look weird, also his eyes arent in focus (unsharp mask?) funny composition too with the empty space on the top left and no hand on the top.
Very cute shot & expression on the orangutan. IMHO however, the overprocessing is distracting and the piece of straw curling around looks like it was drawn in - it has an odd glow and edge.
