Beautiful subject! Maybe you could have gotten closer for a more specific texture (i.e. his fur, his slobbery tounge, his wet nose!) Keep up the good work!

Cute pup! I would suggest not centering him/her so much. Also really works well to photo animals from their eye level. Good luck!
