My goal with this series of shots is to represent some stages through which a non-human (picture an anime android such as Armitage or Hannah's character in BladeRunner) goes through in the process of determining its "self".
We get more of the orange-gold filtered light on the image left; subject begins to recognize conscious desires which are supposed to be depicted by the veil. What young woman wrestling with her sense of "womanhood" hasn't thought about marriage and what it means? I think that I've heard some women say they are scared they will lose themselves and I wanted to catch the protaganist while she was still daydreaming about getting something she'd been denied due to her status.
