I cropped it, cloned out a dog's head, and added contrast.

1 - DMC - No discernible creativity or effort here for the challenge. Nothing 'sporty' about this at all. Nice portrait - but that is not what you were challenged to do.

My favorite and my high vote but fear that others might think the relationship to the challenge is too weak. Only thing that I would have done differently is clean up a few of the sticks that clutter the gravel to give it a more monolithic appearence similar to water. 10 and on my favorites list

A sweet picture of a cute little girl. I don't know if the editing rules would have allowed you to color the flowers but maybe for your own collection it would be fun to try.
