Not much to this shot. I wish I had taken it earlier in the day but the rain came late.
Basic conversion from raw format...
Crop to get rid of hte deep dof in the rest of the pic...
USM to give the form of the rain drop a bit more definition...
NeatImage to get rid of the noise that is inevitable in low exposure shots...
Back to PS to ditch the colour & boost the contrast & less the brightness...
finally, added the border to give the pic a bit more meat as the crop took much from the size.
Not expecting much in terms of votes as I imagine folks vote low to pix smaller than 640 (on the largest side) but I really like the shot & just had to submit it despite its inevitable doom of scoring low.

This looks like it could be a reasonable shot - but the thick border really overshadows the photo and causes the photo itself to be fairly small which minimizes the details. I really would have preferred to see a larger version of the photo without a border (or a much smaller one).
This image has a lot of artifacts in it, maybe they are from scaling, maybe from compression, probably both. But it makes the image look rough and pixellated, unfortunately.
