Looks like a straight-on photo of a display on a computer monitor to me. Maybe it's not the case, but it sure looks like it.
There is a littel area in Reykjavík (Grafarvog) with this all kind of metal things! kinda art. I placed my camera inside one of those thing and shot this picture in negative, from a low angel in a special prespetiv. Alot of peopel think this is a shot from a monitor but it´s NOT! I´m never gonna take a picture of a picture in a monitor!
It looks excatly like this orginal. just a littel darker

This is really nice... it's a really fun image to look at and try to figure out which way the photographer was looking, I 'm guessing up?...I just wish the edges of the "circle" wer not cropped out...great mysterious lighting.
Relevance to Challenge (2): 2-the first thing I think when I look at this pic is "circles"
Color/Lighting/Contrast (2): 2- Nice graduated background most details are visible due to balanced lighting, no harsh shadows or color casts.
Sharpness/Quality (2): 1.5
Composition (2): 1
Creativity/Originality (2): 1.5-Very abstract, I have no idea what it is but its neat to look at.
score: 8
Wow, what exactly is this object??? Neat circles even though they aren't COMPLETE circles, I complete them in my head, which means it fits the challenge to me! :) The blackness of this makes me think I am in space, which works with the title, I believe. Nice focus and clarity - 8 - JeB
