I had no intention of entering this challenge but as I was digging through my hard drive, ordering my photos, I came upon a shot of these speakers that I found very interesting. The original file on my computer was handheld and proved to be quite blurry, so I dug out my tripod and hopped downstairs. It was only then that I realized that this was suitable for the theme of circles.

For this contest everyone who has the word “circle” in their title is getting a max 10 score. This is a copy and paste version that I am including in every photo that I upgrade to 10 due to the title. We as members of DPchallenge need to be reminded of the topic of the challenge – we really need to reread the topic every time we reach a photo. If circle is in the title and it is appropriate I will give a 10. I am sorry if you do not agree with my method of voting – but scores are all I have.
speakers... is it? nice and bold composition. I know it's not allowed in this challenge but try using burn in the PS on this and it wil enhance the image overall giving a better effect to the steel finish. (No points deducted for the same).
Yowch. Too bad about the scrunched in bobble in the tweeter there. I noticed there was a really wild optical illusion in this picture. If you focus on the center of the picture, then focus on the mesh, it looks like the vent shadow is turning itself inside out.
I know the name of that effect, but I can't bring it to my tongue right now. It is an effect to simulate movement through patterns. Leonardo da Vinci used it a bit if I recall correctly.
neat pic though.
Optical illusions would be a really neat Challenge too. Have to suggest it.
Neat title but continue to read although for you I did not downgrade. For this contest everyone who has the word “circle” in their title is getting a lower score. This is a copy and paste version that I am including in every photo that I downgrade due to the title. We as members of DPchallenge know the topic of the challenge – we do not need to reread the topic every time we reach a photo. If circle is in the title and it is appropriate I will most likely not down grade, but it better be good. I am sorry if you do not agree with my method of protest – but scores are all I have.
