 The first thing I thought of after reading the challenge was "circle of life". The most optimistic phase of that is childhood, and I feel this photo represents that well while including a subtle hint of the gloominess that lies ahead in the circle of life.

From what I can see this looks like an excellent image. Unfortunately, it's too small to see very well.

The size of your photo needs to be larger. People take points off for that. Mostly because they can't get a good look at the image. Hope this helps!

small image. "Take a photograph where this basic shape is clearly shown as a key element." i see something that is round, but don't see a circle.
