 This is a small plastic bead sitting on a CD lit by light from a soutwest facing window. The lens I used was a Tamron 90 mm f/2.8 macro lens, not the Cnon EFS 17-85mm. I couldn't add this lens to my profile,unfortunately, because it's not listed among the selections.

The reflection on the CD makes a nice backdrop for the bead. You've got some nice details on the bead, but it is not an inherently detailed object. Perhaps more than one bead, or a more intracate bead would work better.

Wow! I'm not sure what I am looking at but I really like it and this photo. The detail and colors are very eye-popping. Love it!
