A little on the softer side as the focus seems to be on the buds and his legs and misses the more detailed head/eyes...

The detail of the wings really stands out. Nice!

Interesting DOF. I like how you picked up the texture of the wings.

For the kind of shot this is, it needs to be sharper to get full points. Still, nice attempt, and I like how it is positioned in the frame.

Nice shot. Might be better if that tiny piece of wing on the left wasn't cut off, but I'm just being picky.

Focus seems a little soft.

Beautiful colors, nice lookign subject and those buds are a great compliment to the pic. Smaller aperture really would have helped a bit though, as I think the focal point being mostly on the tops of the wings is in the wrong spot.

7 - Very good. For me, 'if only' the dragonfly's body was in finer focus, this would be getting close to perfect. The wing detail is good, but again, for me, if possible, more focus on at least the foreground wing. Nice capture.

If the subject was sharp it would help this pic tremendously.

His head mimics the little bulbous things at the bottom. Interesting perspective. I like it. 8

Nice shot ... great detail ... good color but, not as dramatic in color and lighting as other bug shots ...

The front of the top wing is in focus... just wish the eyes/head were more in focus. Good luck.
