Steve, Very nicely done. I love the fact that it isn't so sharp as to hurt your eyes. Maybe a softer effect is finally winning over the DPC community. Great colors and comp. Keep it up!

Steve - that is such a clear capture! Having spent half an hour with a bee and not getting a single shot that was useable, I recognise that your photo is quite remarkable! Well done on an excellent placing.

Really nice shot. Beautiful natural colors and great composition. (What is that stuff the bee has hanging from his mouth?) Nice background too. The DOF bothers me a little, but hard to take off too many points on this shot. Great job. 7

9 - Yes. No, you don't really need to title a photo like this. For me, it is just about perfect. Perhaps the right antenna in focus, the eye more in focus, maybe a slightly different angle on the echinacea, the bee more centered, I don't know. Looks very close to perfect to me.

Excellent detail ... very nice colors ... great exposure and saturation.

Beautiful sharpness on the bee. The central part of the flower is a bit oversaturated to my eye.
