with the bugs as your focal point, having two takes away from the image in my opinion. If you only had one, this could have a much more punch.

Nice composition and good capture. It seems to me that the lighting chosen creates an unneccessarily wide tonal range which is well captured but might put unneccessary strain on the picture. Good luck. 8

7 - Good. Nice lighting. For me, even just the top bug would have been a better picture, maybe even just for the perspective it would have given. Nice color, background and 'stem hair'.

Beautiful shot. I love how this one has enough depth of field to keep the entire flower & bugs in sharp, crisp focus. The contrast of the soft greens and that beautiful purple make this so pretty to look at. And even tho I hate bugs -- and pictures of them -- I have to admit, this is about as close as you can get to the perfect macro shot. Good luck. 10
