 used a polarizer to get the look I was after, and a 10x close up lens.

PS=Crop, levels, sharpen using the high pass technique, sharpen further with usm, no color filter used.

Very interesting subject matter. Nice to see some originality in a challenge full of bugs and flowers. It seems a little dark to me. Seems like a light source object should be bright. Wonder if you could lighten it up some without ruining the prismed areas.

Nice job on getting up close, but there really isn't anything interesting enough to keep my attention in the photo. I find it bland and without character.

This is really interesting. Great macro shot. The lighting of the little filaments is amazing.
