This is kickass. I love the title, too.

Congrats on a great shot (if not on a great score :))! I did not vote on the challenge, but it was the shot which would've been my top pick

Don't think 1:1 macro is necessary in title but awesome catch

Yikes! Great composition and action! Wish those wings stood out from the background a little better - but what a marvelous capture!

It's like you are in a tanker and an F16 is coming nearby to refuel.
Very cool.

Great capture, but seems to need something else - a better background maybe? Good composition too.

Great detail in the bug. Backgrounds a little weird for me though.

Tied as one of my highest rated images of the challenge, great work. I do, however, think the title could be better, and don't feel you need to list the reproduction ratio.

Good capture and nicely focused. Interesting perspective in a challenge full of simular shots.

Good action capture. Can't really tell what it is though except a flying insect.

Just like the fly in Out Of the Dark this is also a great capture. (I saw it first) This is such a wonderful photo!

Talk about Bug-Eyed! It's technically as good as I can imagine it might be. It's crisp, sharp and even the placement/framing of the flying insect is good. Somehow it strikes me as empty and uncompelling... not sure why.

8 - Yeah. I like this, but would just love to see more detail on the eyes, even the body (with that grid and gold?) and even the 'crossed over legs'. Great with that background. A little 'out of this world'. I will be back to 'learn' how you did this.

HOW do you do that?!? Is he really stopped mid-flight? How would you ever focus on a critter moving like that....? (enquiring minds want to know) :-)

And you stopped the wings, this is a difficult challenge to vote, your lens is getting up close and personal, the blurred background creates, another world image, you must have a fast camera, as well as the lens to suit, sorry about the long speach,do you get the feeling I like this image........10
