technically good shot ... exposure is balanced, lighting is good , dof is good , the subject is not attractive though ... if the instruments had been old ones it would have made your statement much more dramatic ... or use these juxtaposed to a computer ???
Um.... just a bit too staged for my taste. I'd like it better if maybe a tighter DOF with some of the items piled on each other a bit more, instead of so spread out. The contrast in color is nice. The idea is good. Not quite focused enough for my eye.
Scrapbooking is really hot right now. This is if anything right in line with what is happening today in the craft world as well as the world of photography. I work in retail and this type of stuff in this photo makes up around 30% of our weekly sales.
I understand what you were going for here - but I don't think you hit your mark. The items look scattered, not composed , also fewer items would have helped to draw the eye where you want the viewer to go.
