The brightness is to much from the window. Not only the guy having to wake up but I feel like throwing a blaket over my head and bashing the clock into silence. O and trust me nothing obsolete about needing 2 clock to wake up. Nice shot really.
The light from the window is too bright - over-powering the shot. Also out of focus foreground items is rarely a good idea, it just doesn't work well compositionally. I would suggest a curtain or sheet to difuse the window light and focus the camera on the FG clock - or remove it.
