Good composition but, the lighting is very flat and the background is very dull ... the lack of color calls for this to be a b&w or sepia shot ... or add some color.
Well I have to say I find this one of the most boring photographs of the challenge. Sure they are obsolete, but the image has absolutely nothing else going for it. Use some lighting, put them in a situation where we can infer a story, drop them in a bucket of water and capture the splash... do something other than a flat record shot.
These phones look exactly the same to me, and I can't tell where you're drawing the line of obselescence. I like the juxtaposition, but would have liked to see you juxtapose opposites. To me (as is) doesn't really meet the challenge - sorry. 2
the background for this type of 'product' shot works much better as a plain black/white. it doesnt distract from the subject. also, the flash it too powerful and it is overexposed as a whole. 5
