Nice candid shot with great DOF. Yours is a picture that I looked at several times, so it has the quality that brought me bakt to look again. That is an important factor in a quality picture.
Great idea, wonderful subject, but the fountain dominates this shot. Saving grace, the couple does stand out and the fountain is beautiful. I would have preferred more of the subject. One of the biggest downfalls in the digital photography world is the loss of detail in background subjects. This media doesn't have the complete depth of field that film has. This photo is wonderful, digital done you dirt, one of the few times you will hear me say this. Photo 9 Creativity 10 People 9 total 9 I tried really, really hard to not discount this shot due to the nature of digital. Expressed at a much higher resolution, this would have been a 10 ++
I'm not certain, but I think a tighter crop would bring the subject closer to the viewer. The water on the right is nice, but distracts so much that it makes the primary subjects more of just a background.
Good subject, the water helps convey emotion in this shot. I think it would be better without the garbage can behind them = ) but there isn't anything you could have done about it and it doesn't detract too much. Also, I wish there was more detail in the couple, but 640x480 is very limiting there.
There's a lot that I like about this photo, but the strong sunlight is a bit harsh, I guess, and the water everywhere just seems chaotic and distracting instead of enhancing the image.
