 A cone flower in softer morning light.

Cropped, cloned out dirt and leaf from another flower. Adjusted levels, saturation, contrast, brightness. Burned background and some petals. Blurred the background more. Added a thin border, saved for the web.

fyi - 4........ am not overwhelmed with this one..... composition is fine - the element of the leading lines are obvious.... a superior subject and a favorite bloom, but resolution of this difficult colour fails for me.

Echinacea (?) flowers are always bedautiful.
The top of your pic seems a little too dark though.

I like the way that the petals lead to the centre of the flower, but I find it a little disappointing that it is not in sharp focus like the petals are.
