The soul escaping from the body into a world unknown.
Eight second exposure, left hand controlling light for double exposure effect i.e. put light on for a few seconds, put light off, move into new position, put light on, put light off.
I wasnt really going for any particular style but I am kinda surprised at how much it does bear my 'style'. I wish i didnt have the profile of my face in the photo as a few people might recognize me but it ended up being the best outtake.
Update:
Thanks!

My6 pick for the blue this challenge! Congratulations on wonderful work as usual, you have a great knowledge of lighting and a beautiful sense of composition.
Nothing like this in this challenge. A moving image with masterful use of the double exposure, since it is not overdone, and employed more as a strong suggestion. Congratulations on your well deserved blue.
This is not the first time this idea has been done, but it is the best execution of it I've seen. The composition, the lighting and the two poses of the subject are all perfect & make a very impressive photograph. "Fantasy World" is perhaps not the perfect fit as a theme for this image (by that I mean there are themes like Death or Darkness that would be even better), but for an entry this good I think you were justified in going for it anyway. 9
Good idea! Very well executed and definitely dreamlike 'n surreal enough to be something out of a fantasy world. My only criticisms would be the crop/composition, feels like there's something wrong but I'm not sure what. Also, the hotspot on the face detracts very slightly, but it isn't obvious at first so it's extremely minor.
Congrats on your original and creative entry to this challenge, I know how difficult these can be to execute.
Creative way to meet the challenge. Like your idea very much. Not so sure about the execution, though. I Like the line of the body, and the light and shadows on it. But, the soul departing doens't quite do it. It looks like somebody sitting on the edge of the bed. Regardless, I'm impressed with what you tried here. 7
Stunning...stunning...STUNNING!...OMG...this is...this is....just so stunning! I'm at a loss for words...so I'll just say how extremely creative this is...exquisite lighting, completely ethereal...this better get a ribbon.
Good ghostly image here. I wish that the ghosty image had the same 'ghostiness' from the head to the arm. On second contemplation, maybe you were trying to show the light causing the true ethereal nature of the ghost to be revealed while the arm in darkness continues the 'reality' of the dream.
