I found that these little guys make great models while spending a day at the Baltimore Zoo. I also found out that lugging a D30 with Battery grip and a Sigma 70-200 f2.8 APO around all day gets tiring.

Wonderful shot! Love the sentiment. It was worth the effort of carrying all that gear. (Small suggestion - get a cart at an office supply store - so much easier to pull than to carry)
I'm giving this a 9. If for nothing else than for being very emotive, not to mention about the cutest thing ever. It is however a fine picture also. The shallow DOF really makes me focus on the rodents. I might have cut out the bottom foreground though where its blurry. Very well done!
Incredible capture! So cute! The color is magnificent... 10 all the way. I must say though that is this was my shot I would have titled it....... "Fat Little Wife"
what a fabulous title! you cracked me up and there are bonus marks for that! Plus I love the warm tones of this picture..I know its centered and that's often a "no-no" but it works for me!
The thumbnail looked very promising, the full pic even better! Even though the main subject is centered, going against the rules I am still giving it a 10.
