This is one of 3 cygnets that I watched growing up last year. I haven't seen their parents for a while so I guess they're in their 'teens' and fending for themselves now.
Shot as the sun was beginning to set on the last evening of the early summer we've recently experienced.
Full optical zoom & telephoto adapter, very slight crop.

like this pic, lovely title too, matches the pics tranquil quality, the droplets from the swan mouth are beautiful too, and the sunset behind the head , nice colours
seems a tad bit dark or underexposed, especially right bottom, but its a beautiful capture with great warm tones, I like the lighting a lot and good crop with the swan filling the frame, I think it works well!
One of my top 9s of the week - probably one that will turn into a 10 by the end of voting. I love the lighting and this shot just amazes me. I wish those drops weren't there, but it's a great pose.
This, I believe, is my favorite picture of all in the fauna challenge. The lighting is absolutly beautiful. I don't know if it would have the same effect, but I'd like to see a looser crop of this photo. The water drops from his beak add a nice touch. The title you chose for this picture is fitting. What more can I say, but "WOW". Definately a 10+
Nice picture, love the colours of the water and the details in the white feathers. I wish I could see a bit more water (at the left) and a bit less bird (at the right). (8)
