There is a pasrk by where i live that has a bunch of trails and also has a nature center. They have a bunch of pens with birds in them, and this guy (actually girl) was one of them. It was hard to shoot through the pen because it was made of wood peices about 3 inches apart so there was little room for the lens, but it worked.

very good shot, my suggestion would be for a slightly different color scheme to the background, it echoes the colors and tones of the birds feathers and does not give enough separation, and your whites look a little washed out in a few places
