Don't sweat the small stuff. I didn't realize the top crop until I read about it. Great job act creating this photograph!
Post actions
i dont really like the crop at the top. if didnt chew off of the birds head the picture would have been perfect.
Post actions
I love this - this a fabulous picture and you are amazing to have captured it

I'm very happy this won; I love those birds, and I love the pure, intricate detail of this shot. Add in that there's something startlingly human about this bird's "expression", and you managed to capture the hearts of the voters with a very simple, disarmingly simple, image. Congrats!

Beautiful shot. The perfect puffin!
Post actions
I predict a ribbon for this great shot! You captured the colors and textures fantastically.
Post actions
awesome shot! Great detail and the colors are just right. Does not look over processed at all. 10
Post actions
Beautiful colors. Like the texture contrast of the sharp feathers, yet the beak so smooth. Excellent composition. The small frame adds to the overall pleasing effect of this photograph. Very well done! Should place in the top 3. I give it a 10.
Post actions
Very nice detail and exposer. Great photo 9
Post actions
Did the head have to be flattened? Beautiful/ BOL
Post actions
I am stunned by this photo. It seems virtually perfect in every way. The only nit I can pick is that it feels a little too tightly cropped at the top, but it's a pretty small nit to pick. Hope it ribbons.
Post actions
Perfect exposure and interesting bird. Good shot.
Post actions
Great capture of a very photogenic bird. I would have preferred to see the top of the head, though.
Post actions
my second fav in this theme... Geggað. I always feel sorry for the photos that comes on, next after a picture like this... 10
Post actions
Outstanding sharpness!! Great color. Very nice.
Post actions
I like the simplicity of this. Wish his head wasn't cut off on top, but it is beautiful just the same.
Post actions
Great details of this wonderful subject! Very, very nice! :)
Post actions
I hope you take the "Blue" on this one! I love this Puffin. 10
Post actions
Just wonderful sharpness and detail and colour too. Absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, with such a tight crop, the loss of the top of his head has more of an impact than it might otherwise and weakens the composition considerably. Still one of my top 3 in this challenge though! 9

Nice detail. I wish the crop was a little wider though so the entire top of the head was in the frame. Almost looks like a fake bird.

wow, what else can I say! What a GREAT picture! love the colours and the closeness. a 10 from me
Post actions
Doesn't fit the challenge at all!
Post actions
Love that bird! Very sharp, excellent colours.
Post actions
Sooo good that it almost looks fake. This is my pick for the blue ribbon. Wonderful details, colors, focus, dof, and bokeh. The only small criticism is the cropping of the top of the head. However, if you decide to sell this print, let me know. (10)
Post actions
Absolutely a beautiful picture. This is a 10 all the way.
Post actions
So sharp, great detail, excellent seperation from background and fills the frame. Well done.
Post actions
Beautiful photo with very nice clarity. My only complaint is that the top of the bird's head is cut off by the border. 9
Post actions
I love these birds! Wonderful shot of this puffin, I like the soft lighting and detail in feathers and beak...8
Post actions
Very well done! Good focus, colors, composition.... it's all good.
Post actions
Puffins are awesome and you are fortunate to have been able to photograph one. This shot is exceptional except........................you cut off its head. 7 Good luck!
Post actions
There are some great shots in this challenge, I think that this one stands out above the rest.Superb

Wonderful textures and colors. It's a bit annoying that the top of his head is cut off by the border.
Post actions
Post actions
Nice detail but the crop is a bit tight for my taste.

Post actions
Looks like the cover of National Geographic. Great color and contrast!!! Well done on the lighting. This gets a 10.
Post actions
The colours and the sharpness here are worthy of NG. The crop just may be a touch too tight on the top.
Post actions
Wow, now that is tack sharp! Look at all that detail. Superbly done. A ribbon-winner for sure.
Post actions
They are so pretty, your shot is a 9, love this bird.
