These two eagles reside at Zoo Montana in Billings, Montana. They would not be able to survive in the wild because they are unable to fly due to injuries to their wings. If you notice, the one on the right is missing an entire wing. They were saved and brought back to health for us to enjoy and see their beauty up close. I spent a lot of time today wtih these two...they seem to have a lot of fun watching the humans awe at them and put on a nice show of interacting with each other. I was amazed at how they seemed to pose for me.

I thought this could have been really good. The birds are exposed nicely. The background is too busy, though. Obviously, the birds would ignore any requests to pose in a different place, so I'm not sure how much you could have done about it!
Love eagle shots! This is very nice! The fences are a nit that I just can't nip your score for. The feathers came through really nice. You're getting a little shock glare on the heads, but I've done and submitted worse (I called it an artsy glare). Easy 10 for me. Rob the Swash
Good capture, these guys look like friends. A little shallower DOF might have blurred the background more thereby highlighting your main subjects more.
