OMG! You were SO robbed. This should have finished in the high 5's, low 6's AT LEAST. The artistic value of this image alone blows away half of the top 50 shots. Don't get discouraged by this outcome. People are just too easily swayed by substandard bird headshots.

I already knew that it wouldn't do well cuz its "different". The score doesn't matter, I was given a challenge and ended up taking a photo that I liked.
I could have easily gotten a close-up of any type of bird, but I went with something minimalistic. I'm glad to know that some people appreciated it.

Well there is a bird so you got points for that. Biggest problem is the reflection off the water is so overbearing you have to force yourself to look for the bird.
