The simplicity of this composition is excellent! I love the contrasting colors, and the lighting gives nice texture to the wall and grass. Nice job!

I really love this picture. Wish I'd taken it! My only suggestion would be to crop the upper right so that you don't have the white space at the top of the step. That would give you a solid diagonal into the corner. But that's just me... Congratulations on a great shot.
