My parents didn't let me get my ears pierced until I was 19 and by then tattoos were all the rage and I forgot all about getting a piercing.

Beautiful child, especially the eyes. I keep going back and forth about rather or not I like the soft focus. To me, it looks like there is focus on the mid portion of the picture (on the umbrella) rather than on the child's face. I don't really care for the overexposed areas at the top left and the right edge. Otherwise, minimally but nicely framed. 7
