Taken at an airshow in Horsham, PA. I don't expect this to do well (its not exactly original), but I do feel that it meets the challenge. I had a few that I liked better (tighter formations, more planes in the shot), but this best conveyed beauty to me through the tight formation between the jets as well as the cloudy/blue sky. I had a lot of nice shots that had one of these two elements, but few with both. This formation is traditionally flown with a WWII era aircraft as well, but for some reason there wasn't one at this airshow. I had fun and would like to shoot another airshow in the future, but hopefully with a much better lens, as I found many shots to be soft (though in focus) and had to stop down as a result, forcing me to increase the ISO.

Nice, where was this? I live next to Dobbins AFB and Lockheed and get to see the FA/22 weekly. Planes are cool arent they?

I was surprised at how many airplane entries there were, but yours really stood out from the rest. My brother is a pilot for FedEx, and although I'm not a big fan of plane shots (no pun intended), this one is truly spectacular. You did a phenomenal job capturing them. My only other comment would be that I think I would have scored it a 10 if the colors had been a little brighter. Great job! (9)
