I was a little heavy handed with the dodging, but I think it makes for a more impactful photo. And because it was a partly cloudy day, I think the variations in light/dark are more believable than they otherwise would have been.
Focal length: 17mm
Post processing: crop, selective color to darken blue sky, dodged highlights into foreground and city, cloned out minor distracting elements, neat image, resize, unsharp mask, save for web.

Overall I feel like the composition is good. I feel however that the use of the burn and dodge tool might be over used here. If I'm wrong, killer shot. But I dont think that I am. Some lighting feels awkward in a natural sense. In an artistic sense it could work though.
Pretty cool shot! I guess that this is Chicaco although I have never been there. Anyway, love the colours/contrast/sharpness in this shot and that sky is lovely, a very nice city scape shot and it makes me want to come over for a quick visit in your city. I would however have liked to see more of the right side too, I somewhat feel as if this is only a left part of a photo and you cut half of it away but that is just nitpicking and I love it as it is.
There's a lot to absorb in this photo. Very nice job. My only other comment would be that I would have liked to see a little more light in the foreground and that you probably could have smart erased the birds in the clouds. Don't get me wrong, it's a spectacular shot. (9)
