I guess you are trying to compare the salt falls to a water fall. This photo could have benefitted by better lighting and cropping. Good idea

The detail is lacking in this one and the lighting and focus need to be better. Sorry I couldn't score higher. I think it could have been a real winner if the balance was better.

Neat concept -- but it would benefit from a white balance adjusment and then some slight levels and curves tweaking.

I imagine you tried to use a long exposure to try for a soft velvet touch to the salt like they do in waterfalls. You came extremly close but your darkness hurts the image. A curves adjustment may be able to save this image. Good luck in the challenge and it is really a good idea for the shot.
