This butterfly was very hard to keep track off!...There was lots of wind that day as well so the focus point kept on moving (that is why its a bit soft)...thanks everyone for the great comments and score!

The golden/orangey tones contrasting with the blue on the wing of the butterfly adds so much punch to the image.

Everything about this picture is not only beautiful but perfect to my eye. Lovely shot. I love the colors. Usually nature is full of green or blue and this golden yellow is just perfect!

This is a very sweet image Nice colors and composition. I'm a sharpness freak when it comes to bug shots so for me taste you could have used a little more there. 8
Beautiful colour is this! I love the dreamy way the flower head drifts into soft focus. Great contrast between the yellow and purple of the butterfly, makes the shot!
Beauty in the ordinary, just a little moth. His perch on the grass stalk, just right... like the color gradation from yellow in the center to yellow/reds at the edges... think the frame is just perfect. My only cause for pause is the tallest center grass blade, not much you could do but it's presence *slightly* diminishes the shot I feel. (9)
What an unusual shot! Beautiful and distinctive colour palette, a composition that really stands out from the norm and fantastic detail on the butterfly with perfect, perfect background. A straight 10!
