This was done with in camera double exposure. I set the aperture at 3.2 and did a manual focus for near and then on the next exposure I focused on the far. I did crop, level, saturation and contrast in post processing.

Me again . . . my second critique this week and both times on of your photos.
Well, this is another creative one. I had already read through the comments you got and your description of how you took this photo before receiving this for critique, and I'd be completely stumped as to how you did this if I hadn't read your description.
My favorite type of photos have a very simple blackground, you've done well with yours here, very nice and even black, also the perfect backdrop to really bring out the colors in the candy. I love how your focus for each of the candy lines is spot-on and how you can see the texture and everything. Because there are no visible shadows, your candy seems to almost be floating in space :)
I bet getting the candy in the two exposures to line up properly was hard and you did a good job. I would like to see the photo rotated CW just a tad so that the two yellow pieces are more level, but that's really the only area for improvement I can see (and even that one is somewhat nitpicky).
As in your other submission this week, your post-processing is great, the frame works well here.
A great submission that I enjoyed a lot for this challenge. You are truly on a roll, I look forward to seeing more fabulous photos from you in the coming challenges :)
Please let me know if you have any questions or comments about this review.
Now this is tricky, how did you achieve this? Wonderful colours against the black background. Composition is simple yet effective. Nice framing as well. GL in this weeks challenge.
Cool effect (I hope you left a good description). Very well laid out (still this trick seems too good to be legal - that's a compliment). Score raised from 8 to 9. Rob the Swash
strangely odd. not sure how to take this picture. i don't know how you did it, definitely interesting. but throws my vision off (probably what you wanted). good colors, i like the color pattern. just the way it is focused.... not to sure about it. i'll give you an A for effort.
Very very cool idea. My only gripe is that my eye doesn't know where to look. Should I look at the front left or the back right? Still a very very cool idea
I have to think this is something like the 2 in 1 feature on the oly 5050. I don't know any other way to change the focal length so radically in one page except to have a printed one cut out next to it or something. Good illustration of unique technique, but I don't really think it makes for a more pleasing photo. More intriguing to the photographer methinks than aesthetically good.
