Saw the fireplace glowing and had crazy idea. Salt crystals on granite fireplace, with the fire providing the primary light, and a blue TV screen giving the secondary. Cropped, unsharp mask, resize, thats it. First time using photoshop, am sure there is much more I could do.

seems as though a lot of people are having this problem. i'm not really a fan of shots that have a dof that only allows a thin line of focused area half way too the middle of the shot.
I'm assuming that you've used a black light on this shot, is that correct? I would have scored this higher had you used more crystals in a tighter group. None the less, good shot and it shows your creativity. Well done.
I like the idea of this shot, the salt color and you did very good capturing the texture of the salt grains but I'm not to keen on the darkness of the shot. good luck
