nice shot, but doesn't seem the subject is granular, i understand sand and all but the waves have smoothed them out. perhaps im over critical, in any case im bumping up.
Skirts the edge of the topic but just makes it for me. Sand is granual but the grains don't show here. Still it is very beautiful and you did a good job of catching it all in a beautiful composition.
while it is a good image with nice lighting and image placement I wonder how many are going to knock your score down for not focusing on the grain part of the image. I'm not...on a side note I wonder if you could adjust your hue in the sky (on a non challenge image of course) and add maybe a bit more red to it. Might make it really awesome. Good luck.
