I can see what you are trying to create and I like the concept. But considering the color of the sky and reflection, the light on the hills and especially behind the red roofed building shouldn't be so bright. They look like they are being lit by noon sunlight, not sunset light. The relflection of the sun in the water shouldn't be so defined either. If it is sunset it should be longer as well.
Yes the picture has technical faults in it 'coz there should actually be no reflection in the water. But the both the actual picture and the sky were taken mid day, so I thought they will do the justice. Sun was partially hidden by clouds and with slight change in hue & red filter, I was able to get this feel of sunset time colors. Its just how my imagination worked... am still learning by mistakes :) Thanks
Very good! I like the sky, the colors and the atmosphere. I would clone off the red spot. Can you tell us how you did it?
I have sandwiched two pictures together in layers. This picture had a dull sky with blown out areas, so I selected another picture of mine with sun hiding partially under the clouds to replace the sky. Same sky was added in another layer and rotated to create reflection in the water. The red baloon is perhaps lobster trap and I had cloned it out in the available print for this picture. Thanks :)

The colors seem a little oversaturated and the reflection of the sun doesn't quite add up. However, the overall feel of the picture is good and there is a surreal feeling which I like.
I've been a photoshop geek for almost 10 years... and since you wanted the critique of a ps user... I will say that this picture is AWESOME!!!!!! I love what you've done to it. The red dot, eh didnt distract me much... didn't see it until i read comments. The sky looks gorgeous and the lighting is great. Wonderful job
