I must be missing something. I can't see the (obvious?) link to the picture title. The apple is so insignificant in the picture that the main focus is the green grass (wheat?).
With the apple in the horizon of the tree line .......it's lost. The colors are flat, I'm guessing this was at sundown? The light is very low and the focus is a bit too soft.
There wasn't much here that was interesting. Perhaps if the apple was a larger part of the picture, and a brighter red to contrast with all that grey/green background.
