Returning for comment. Good use of DOF, composition is correct for the elements at hand. Perhaps having the eyes of the animal would have helped overall impact. Congratulate on the minimum of animal drool. Colors seem a bit flat. Your'e on the road here with good use of techniques, but overall the shot is somewhat mundane when compared with others in the challenge.
