Crab traps are left abandoned on the shore of Irish Bayou in New Orleans, LA. Pylons are in the water also, but I am not sure what purposed they once served.
Workflow:
1) convert from RAW.
2) copy sky to separate layer
3) adjust curves on sky and water
4) color saturation
5) resize
6) usm

Perhaps I have my monitor set to dark because I don't want anyone complaining about my pics, but I think this could have been a stellar shot if there was some more light on the water. Oh and if possible I would have liked to see the full reflections of the longer posts and a bit less sky
Simply amazing great silhouettes that are clean and crisp against an amazing starburst diplay of light. A realy wonderfull photo that i could enjoy for hours. 9
The sky is beautiful and silhouettes the buildings perfectly. The composition doesn't work for me somehow. The bottom of the photo seems to cluttered. I think it works better cropped above the nets and sun's relection with just enough water showing to let the viewer know it's there.
