Fireworks behind our house. Caught the crew setting off the fireworks through the trees. The colors and the smoke added a unique abstract look to the explosive activity (actually the grand finale) going on behind the silhouetted trees.
In Elements: Cropped several times to get the scene; slightly adjusted color saturation; adjusted the levels; unsharpened mask by 95%, radius 2, threshold 1; sized for web.

The fireworks are awsome but I feel that they are the center of interest and not the silhouttes. Perhaps if there had been a more interesting subject as the silhoutte you would have convinced me to vote a bit higher, But the Fireworks and the silhoutte work are just great. I also love the title. So giving this a bad score is just not an option. Great job!
