Yes, the background is really screwed up. Set up, got my 4 year old into the act. Everything just about like I wanted it. Finished the shoot after putting her to bed - bingo! Dust all over the CCD!
I didn't have the opportunity to reshoot, and bing a basic challenge, couldn't spot-edit to eliminate the dust marks. Such is life.

Not a fan of the arrow through apple on head shots. There is a slight shadow on the right side of the model. It would have looked better if you would have done something to diffuse the light flash. 6
It started out as a smile....progressed to a chuckle, and finally erupted into a full blown LAUGH!!! I LOVE this picture. Perfect expression. Good, simple background. 10
