I did not actually get this apple to balance on the head of my pug, then shoot an arrow through it. I would never put my babies in danger. I actually was off to the side holding the very end of the arrow to balance the apple on his head as I hit the remote shutter to get the shot. A little cropping took care of my fingers showing.

That's hysterical! The only points of improvement I can think of are having the whole arrow in the shot (but I'm guessing it's attached to something so it stays on the dog's head) and maybe having it in greyscale. LOVE the forlorn look on the little guy's face, and makes the title more than appropriate.
When I'm having a bad day and need a good laugh I'm planning on coming right back to this picture. This dog's expression is perfect. The things we do to our pets....
Nice twist on the idea... This would be a great picture to use for a caption contest.
Although Why Me? fits perfectly
on the photo side cropped a tad to close on the left.. I assume it was because of a hand holding the arrow.. but a solid 7 in my book...
Nice idea, but i've seen to much of these "shots"..... It's a small dog, would have been better if the position was a bit lower, on your knees.....or on your stomach. I like the way your dog looks at you.....cute
