I really like the different shades of brown and tan here, as well as, the DOF, but I took off some points because to look at the photo, it doesn't say "weather" to me without knowing that it was entered in that challenge.

Nice! Good composition, focus and depth. You were able to show nice texture and detail of the leaf. Just might be a tad on the dark side. Simple adjustment to brightness/constast could bring the colors out more.

I like the complimentary colour scheme of foreground and background. The composition is good, but I think the varying levels of texture really makes this shot work.
